AbstractABSTRACT. This study focused on intercultural knowledge as the subject of students who take foreign language study to understand the polarity between the western and eastern culture with comparative cultural studies. According to C.G Jung, his methods anima for analyzing the human unconscious archetype that has an expression as personaly in feminine and animus in the unconscious woman in a masculine inner personality. These psychological methods used to analyze the complexities of personal Avalokitersvara and Joan of Arc, in which they are considered as holy figures in their respective cultures. At this point it seems important to develop intercultural knowledge as basic goal for international communication. |
